Mr. Perez¹s career is highlighted by experience in construction engineering inspection (CEI) and management of major transportation projects including rapid transit, urban and rural roadway improvements, complex bridge projects and movable bridges. He has over 27 years’ experience as a Construction Resident Engineer having led CEI efforts for FDOT District IV, FDOT District VI, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, and the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority.
Over his career, he has overseen more than $1 Billion of construction and has successfully completed, as a Construction Resident Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, 15 different FDOT/MDX Major Projects. His last two projects, the MDX SR-836 Extension, and the N.W. 25th Street Viaduct East Phase, for FDOT District VI won several noteworthy awards. Mr. Perez supervises 32 engineers and/or inspectors, and is currently working on more than 10 different CEI projects.
In addition to his construction experience, he has managed the complex maintenance of traffic projects and has held positions in quality assurance/quality control, traffic engineering, concrete pavement design, and transportation planning.
