The MIA Mover is a light-rail people mover operating between the Miami International Airport (MIA) Miami Intermodal Center (MIC), Rental Car Center (RCC), and Miami Central Station (MCS). This is a vital component of the MIC Program because it connects MIA to the Amtrak, Tri-Rail, and Metrorail.

 

In this project, A&P Engineers’ role was to review the entire drawing package for the proposed work, including the lightning protection system, grounding system, and inspection of all installations for the Mover’s Guideway. Our tasks also included a complete concept review, complete design review, complete specification package review as well as project coordination and quality control.
