Mr. Acosta, a licensed Professional Engineer and General Contractor in the State of Florida, is a Principal responsible for the executive and managerial functions. Under Mr. Acosta's leadership, A&P Engineers has substantially increased its revenue and workforce, while considerably expanding its services.
Mr. Acosta has a wide range of skills and the expertise to complete all types of roadway projects. He spent the first 13 years of his career working for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District VI on the production of roadway plans ranging from minor design to major reconstruction projects.
The majority of Mr. Acosta¹s career has been focused on the design and management of FDOT highway projects. Along the way, he has gained an in-depth understanding of water resources, structural, and electrical engineering related to roadway design. Mr. Acosta is a Florida International University (FIU) graduate (1985) with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1985). Mr. Acosta's professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Cuban-American Association of Civil Engineers (C-AACE).
